Master bedroom...

Braden and I found this bedspread at Macy's and got an awesome deal! Little did he know, the purple in the bedspread told me PAINT A PURPLE WALL! So i did!

1/2 bath table

In the start of my house projects, I was so anxious to get going that I almost NEVER took BEFORE pictures. Rookie mistake. But oh well! 

I searched (for like a week) for a cute table for the downstairs bathroom. But I never found one I liked... until I saw this at an antique store. I bought it for $20 and redid it!

I got the knob and fabric at hobby lobby and used an antiquing glaze to distress it.

Super easy and it made such a difference!

Before we found out I was pregnant with Tytan, we moved into our house and I painted a guest room.

I really wish I had taken a before picture of this dresser BEFORE I redid it. So you will just have to use your imagination. It was plain. Very nice, but plain.

I chose to use different colored knobs on each drawer and covered the doors insides with fabric.

Braden made this headboard for me just with 2X4's. Super easy. Now it is just sitting in our office, not being used. I really need to get rid of it.

Last weekend we went to the Utah State football game as a family!
Tytan actually enjoyed himself! The first quarter was spent pushing people's coats off the bench onto the ground, throwing his little horse at people, and clapping when he realized everyone else was cheering!

The second quarter was spent up in the walkway. Tytan absolutely loves other kids so of course he found 6 little girls that were between 6-11 years old that were selling cookies. THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM! They were taking pictures of him and hugging him and he was SOAKING up the attention! I wish I had gotten a picture with them! It was adorable. He was really sad when we left during halftime. But he WEARS ME OUT! 

Even with this busy little guy, we were lucky enough to snap a quick family pic!

So I figured i'd start sharing some pieces I have refinished. Some DIY's, furniture, and fun little projects! Obviously they aren't perfect, but I have fun with them!

Last night was Tytan's first time attending a hockey game! He actually did AWESOME. He suffered through the frost bite, the crazy loud fans, and sitting in one spot for longer than 3 minutes! He actually lasted almost 2 hours! WAY TO GO BUD! My favorite was the fact that he would only sit in the aisle! What a great super fan :]

The last time I was at that EXACT hockey rink, Braden was down on one knee :] WHAT A GREAT MEMORY! 

We will for sure be back for another game!

the first of many... (hopefully)

Today is the day..
the FIRST day..
the first day i will be blogging all about my little family. I am not quite sure where to begin (again). So i guess i will start with something that has been on my mind. Lately I have realized just how blessed I am to have such a healthy, happy baby. He's not really a baby anymore, he's 1. But to me, he's my baby. So i will refer to him as such. Tytan has never had any health problems, which I have really taken for granted. He's is full of so much personality and makes Braden and I the happiest parents!

Recently we got our family pictures taken. They turned out beautiful! Thanks to Andrea Christy Photography! She has been so amazing to work with! Here are just a few of my favorites :]
